JPSC CDPO Syllabus 2024

Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) has released the official JPSC CDPO Syllabus 2024 for JPSC CDPO Recruitment 2024. JPSC CDPO Syllabus 2024

Syllabus for Preliminary Examination

There will be two papers of preliminary examination which will be objective and each paper will be of 100-100 marks, whose total marks will be 200 marks.

Paper-I General Studies ( 100 Marks)

  • History of India and the Indian National Movement
  • Geography of India and the World
  • Polity and Economics of India
  • History, Geography, Economics and Culture of Jharkhand

Paper-II General Studies (100 Marks)

  • Important events of State, Country, and World
  • General Science
  • General Mental Ability – reasoning and analytical ability

NOTE:

  • Both the question papers will be objective type ( Multiple choice questions).
  • The medium of questions will be Hindi and English.
  • The duration of each paper will be 2 Hours.
  • Blind Candidates will be given an additional 20 minutes for each paper.

Syllabus for Main Examination

The Main Examination consists of Three descriptive-type papers are following:

HINDI

The question paper will be for class X level of the Jharkhand School Examination Board, In this test, the ability to express one’s feelings in simple Hindi clearly and in pure form and intuitive understanding will be tested.

The distribution of marks will be as follows:

  • Essay – 30 Marks
  • Grammar – 30 Marks
  • Syntax – 25 Marks
  • Summary – 15 Marks

NOTE: Hindi marks will be qualifying nature only. The qualifying mark will be 30. Its marks will not be included in the merit list.

GENERAL STUDIES

The following papers will be part of General Studies Question Paper 1 and Question Paper 2:

PAPER -1

  1. Modern History of India and Indian Culture.
  2. Current events of National and International importance.
  3. Statistical analysis graphs and diagrams.

The history of modern India (with special reference to Jharkhand) and Indian culture will include questions related to the outline of the country’s history from about the middle of the nineteenth century. Questions will be asked in the context of the modern history of Jharkhand, and the beginning and development of Western education (including technology education) in the region. In this, there will be questions related to the role of Jharkhand in the Indian freedom struggle, these questions will mainly be asked from the Santhal rebellion, and Birsa’s movement. Candidates are expected to make some inferences using common sense based on the information of statistical drawings or pictorially presented material in the subjects related to the pictorial representation of the Mauryan period and Pala period and the shortcomings, limitations, and limitations found therein. The ability to draw inconsistencies will be tested.

PAPER – 2

  1. Indian Polity
  2. Indian Economy and Geography of India
  3. The role and impact of science and technology in the development of India.

In the section related to Indian Polity, there will be questions related to the political system of India (and Jharkhand). In the section related to the Indian Economy and Geography of India and Jharkhand, questions will be asked related to the Planning of India and the Physical, Economic, and Social Geography of India. In the third section related to the importance and impact of science and technology on India, such questions will be asked to test the candidate’s knowledge about the importance of science and technology in India and Jharkhand.

OPTIONAL SUBJECTS

Candidates will be able to choose any one of these subjects as per their wish. There will be 2 (two) papers on optional subjects. each paper will be worth 200 marks. Candidates have to check the subject-wise topics.

  3. Labour and Social Welfare
  4. Home Science
