• Maximum Age: 30 years

Diploma Engineer Trainee (DET):

• Minimum Age: 18 years
• Maximum Age: 27 years

Qualification for HURL Engineer Trainee Recruitment 2025

To apply for the HURL Engineer Trainee Recruitment 2025, candidates must possess the following educational qualifications:

Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET):

• A full-time regular engineering degree in the relevant discipline (Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation) with a minimum of 60% marks.
• Candidates with AMIE qualifications are also eligible.

Diploma Engineer Trainee (DET):

• A three-year full-time diploma in the relevant engineering discipline (Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation) or a B.Sc. (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) with 50% marks.

Selection Process

The selection process involves the following stages:

1. Computer-Based Test (CBT):
   • The CBT will have two parts:
     • Discipline-related questions: 100 questions
     • Aptitude-related questions: 50 questions covering General English, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning, and General Knowledge
   • Duration: 2 hours (120 minutes)
   • Total Questions: 150
   • Marking Scheme: 1 mark per question, and no negative marking for incorrect answers.
2. Document Verification:
   • Based on the CBT performance, candidates will be shortlisted for document verification in order of merit.
   • The final merit list will be prepared based on performance in the CBT and the number of available vacancies.
3. Training and Absorption:
   • Selected candidates will undergo a one-year training period at HURL’s facilities.
   • Upon successful completion of training, GET candidates will be absorbed as Engineers/Officers in the Executive Cadre at E1 Level, and DET candidates will be absorbed in the Non-Unionized Supervisor Cadre as Junior Engineer Assistants at Grade 1.

Salary Details

Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET):

• Stipend during training: ₹40,000 + HRA or accommodation
• Post-training pay scale: ₹40,000 – ₹1,40,000
• CTC: ₹13.92 lakhs per annum (approx.)

Diploma Engineer Trainee (DET):

• Stipend during training: ₹23,000 + HRA or accommodation
• Post-training pay scale: ₹23,000 – ₹76,200
• CTC: ₹7.7 lakhs per annum (approx.)
