RRB NTPC Undergraduate Recruitment 2024
The Railway Recruitment Boards (RRB) have announced the RRB NTPC Undergraduate Recruitment 2024, inviting applications for various Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC) undergraduate-level posts. Application Fee
Candidates applying for the RRB NTPC Undergraduate positions must pay a non-refundable application fee as follows:

Age Limit
The age limits for RRB NTPC Undergraduate 2024 positions are calculated as of January 1, 2025.
- Minimum Age: 18 years
- Maximum Age: 33 years
Age Relaxation
To provide relief to those who may have missed recruitment opportunities due to the COVID-19 pandemic, a one-time age relaxation of 3 years beyond the prescribed upper age limit is offered for all categories:
- SC/ST candidates: Additional 5 years
- OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates: Additional 3 years
- Ex-Servicemen: Relaxation according to the length of service in the armed forces
- PwBD (Persons with Benchmark Disabilities):
- General/EWS: 10 years
- OBC: 13 years
- SC/ST: 15 years
- Railway employees with at least 3 years of service: Up to 40 years for UR/EWS, 43 years for OBC, and 45 years for SC/ST
- Widows, Divorced Women, and Women Judicially Separated but not Remarried: Up to 35 years for UR/EWS, 38 years for OBC, and 40 years for SC/ST
Qualification
Candidates applying for RRB NTPC Undergraduate posts must have:
- Minimum Qualification: 12th (+2 Stage) or its equivalent examination from a recognized board.
- Additional typing proficiency for posts such as Accounts Clerk cum Typist and Junior Clerk cum Typist.
Exam Pattern
The selection process for RRB NTPC Undergraduate posts involves multiple stages:
1. First Stage Computer-Based Test (CBT)
- Duration: 90 minutes (120 minutes for PwBD candidates with scribe)
- Total Questions: 100 (Objective type)
- Subjects:
- General Awareness: 40 questions
- Mathematics: 30 questions
- General Intelligence and Reasoning: 30 questions
- Negative Marking: 1/3rd of the marks allotted will be deducted for each wrong answer.
2. Second Stage Computer-Based Test (CBT)
- Duration: 90 minutes (120 minutes for PwBD candidates with scribe)
- Total Questions: 120 (Objective type)
- Subjects:
- General Awareness: 50 questions
- Mathematics: 35 questions
- General Intelligence and Reasoning: 35 questions
- Negative Marking: 1/3rd mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.
3. Typing Skill Test (TST)
- This test is applicable for posts such as Junior Clerk cum Typist and Accounts Clerk cum Typist.
- Candidates must be able to type 30 words per minute in English or 25 words per minute in Hindi.
- Typing Skill Test is qualifying in nature.
4. Document Verification and Medical Examination
Candidates who clear the above stages will be called for document verification and a medical examination.
Selection Process
The final selection for RRB NTPC Undergraduate posts will be based on:
- Performance in CBT 1 & CBT 2 (normalized scores will be used for merit listing).
- Typing Skill Test (TST) where applicable.
- Document Verification and Medical Examination.
